Peak Auto Care opened on S Nevada Ave in 2011 when founder Carlos Hernandez got tired of watching Colorado Springs drivers get ripped off by shops that replaced parts they didn't need and charged dealership rates for average work.
Carlos had spent 12 years as an ASE Master Technician at two different dealerships in El Paso County. He knew what excellent auto repair looked like — and he knew it didn't require gouging customers or manufacturing problems. He opened Peak Auto Care with three bays, four technicians, and one rule: tell the customer the truth, even when the truth costs you a sale.
